Care & Maintenance

Enjoy your Ratana furniture for years to come by keeping it in good shape! Simply hose off or wipe down your frame to clean it! Avoid using harsh cleaners, brushes or power washers, which could damage the finish. Cleaning your cushions, sling and rope on a regular basis will help prevent build-ups of dirt, which can generate mildew. Simply spot treat stains with mild soap and water, rinse, and allow the fabric to air dry. Tip: Placing a cushion on its side will help the water to drain faster! Never use a commercial washer or dryer to clean your cushions.

Take extra care when placing your furniture in humid or coastal settings; accumulation of salts and other debris can cause damage to your frame and void the warranty. When not in use, we recommend using a protective cover with your furniture. During harsh weather and extreme temperatures, we recommend storing your outdoor pieces in a shed or garage. Avoid storing upside down, which can trap moisture. Damage caused by the elements, normal wear and tear or improper care is not covered by Ratana's warranties.
