Care & Maintenance

Enjoy your Sunset West furniture for years to come by keeping it in good shape! To clean your frame, simply wipe it down with a mild soap and warm water solution. Avoid using harsh cleaners, brushes or power washers, which could damage your product. Cleaning your cushions on a regular basis will help prevent build-ups of dirt, which can generate mildew. Simply spot treat stains with mild soap and water, rinse, and allow the fabric to air dry. Tip: Placing a cushion on its side will help the water to drain faster! Never use a commercial washer or dryer to clean your cushions.

When not in use, we recommend using a protective cover with your furniture. During harsh weather and extreme temperatures, we recommend storing your Sunset West pieces in a shed or garage. When left exposed to the elements, the water-based finish will eventually wear away and uncover the natural teak underneath. You can prevent weathering and fading by applying a teak sealant regularly.
